What You Will Learn

This course covers two levels of German: A1 for complete beginners and A2 for elementary learners. Each level includes key topics and skills to help you understand and use the German language.

A1 — Complete Beginner

• Greetings and introductions, such as saying hello and good morning.
• Understanding numbers, dates, and telling time.
• Learning the alphabet and correct pronunciation of German sounds.
• Using articles like der, die, and das.
• Recognizing and using personal pronouns, including ich, du, er, and sie.
• Practicing basic verbs such as sein (to be), haben (to have), and machen (to do).
• Talking about family and describing people.
• Identifying colors, clothes, and vocabulary related to shopping.
• Ordering food in a restaurant.
• Constructing simple sentences.

A2 — Elementary

• Reviewing A1 content and filling in gaps in knowledge.
• Using the past tense (Perfekt) to describe past events.
• Understanding and using modal verbs like können (can), müssen (must), and wollen (want).
• Giving and asking for directions and discussing transport.
• Talking about daily routines and hobbies.
• Learning the accusative and dative cases for correct sentence structure.
• Making comparisons with adjectives like größer (bigger) and kleiner (smaller).
• Discussing weather and seasons.
• Describing health and body parts.
• Writing simple emails and messages.

As you progress from A1 to A2, you will build a strong foundation in German. You will learn to communicate in everyday situations and develop your language skills step by step.
