What You Will Learn

This course covers essential skills and concepts for becoming an AWS and Python Cloud Engineer. You will learn step by step through five modules, each building on the previous one.

Module 1: AWS Essentials & CCP Prep (30 Hours)

• Understand cloud architecture, including regions and availability zones.

• Learn about identity and access management, focusing on users, roles, and policies.

• Explore compute and storage options, such as EC2 instance types and S3 storage classes.

• Gain knowledge of networking foundations, including public and private subnets.

• Get familiar with billing and cost management tools in AWS.

Module 2: Boto3 Mastery & Automation (40 Hours)

• Set up AWS CLI and manage Boto3 sessions.

• Differentiate between low-level and high-level interfaces in Boto3.

• Automate S3 tasks, including multi-file uploads and bucket lifecycles.

• Manage EC2 instances with automated schedules and metadata parsing.

• Create scripts to identify and manage unused resources.

Module 3: Docker & Containerization (25 Hours)

• Understand the differences between containers and virtual machines.

• Learn to create Dockerfiles for building images.

• Implement networking and volumes for data persistence.

• Use Docker Compose to launch multi-tier applications.

• Push and manage Docker images using Elastic Container Registry (ECR).

Module 4: Kubernetes & EKS Orchestration (30 Hours)

• Get familiar with Kubernetes objects like pods and services.

• Deploy a Kubernetes cluster using eksctl.

• Pass configurations and secrets to containerized applications.

• Implement auto-scaling for applications based on demand.

• Deploy a scalable application that interacts with AWS services.

Module 5: CI/CD & The DevOps Pipeline (25 Hours)

• Learn Git Flow for version control and collaboration.

• Build CI pipelines using GitHub Actions.

• Explore AWS Developer Tools like CodeBuild and CodePipeline.

• Understand Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.

• Complete a final project that integrates all skills learned.
