Class 11th BOTANY Course

1. Diversity in Living World: Features of living organisms, Binomial Nomenclature, and five-kingdom classification (Monera, Protista, Fungi). It specifically covers Algae, Bryophytes, Pteridophytes, and Gymnosperms.

2. Structural Organisation in Plants: Morphology and modifications of roots, stems, leaves, flowers, fruits, and seeds. Anatomy includes plant tissues and internal structures of monocot and dicot plants.

3. Diversity in Living World: Features of living organisms, Binomial Nomenclature, and five-kingdom classification (Monera, Protista, Fungi). It specifically covers Algae, Bryophytes, Pteridophytes, and Gymnosperms.

c. Plant Growth and Development: Seed germination, growth regulators (Auxin, Gibberellin, Cytokinin, Ethylene, ABA), and photoperiodism

Class 12th BOTANY Course

1. Reproduction in Flowering Plants: Flower structure, development of male/female gametophytes, pollination types, double fertilisation, and post-fertilisation events (seed/fruit formation).

2. Genetics and Evolution:Principles of Inheritance and Variation: Mendelian laws, sex determination, mutations, and genetic disorders.

3. Molecular Basis of Inheritance: DNA/RNA structure, replication, transcription, translation, and the Lac Operon model.

4. Biology and Human Welfare: Role of microbes in household and industrial products, sewage treatment, and energy production.

5. Ecology & Environment: Organisms and Populations: Population attributes and interactions like mutualism and predation.

6. Ecosystem: Energy flow, productivity, decomposition, and ecological pyramids.
