Beginner Spoken English: Complete 60-Class Curriculum

Course Objective: To transition a beginner from basic word recognition to holding 10-15 minute functional conversations in real-world scenarios.


Module 1: The Absolute Basics (Classes 1–10)

Focus: Identity, basic sentence structure, and immediate surroundings.

  1. Greetings & Farewells: Formal vs. Informal.

  2. Personal Introductions: Name, age, and origin.

  3. The Alphabet & Phonetics: Spelling and pronunciation basics.

  4. Numbers & Counting: 1–100, ordinal numbers (1st, 2nd).

  5. Verb "To Be" (Positive): Building "I am / You are" sentences.

  6. Verb "To Be" (Negative/Questions): "Are you...?" / "I am not."

  7. Demonstratives: This, That, These, Those.

  8. Nouns & Articles: Singular vs. Plural; using a, an, and some.

  9. Adjectives: Colors, sizes, and basic descriptions.

  10. Module Review: Initial speaking assessment and diagnostic.


Module 2: Daily Life & Time (Classes 11–20)

Focus: Schedules, habits, and expressing preferences.

11. Telling Time: Analog vs. Digital time-telling.

12. The Calendar: Days, months, and dates.

13. Present Simple (I/You/We/They): My daily routine.

14. Present Simple (He/She/It): Describing someone else’s day.

15. Daily Questions: Using "Do" and "Does" correctly.
