Sreedil Lal

Sreedil Lal is a passionate and experienced chess trainer dedicated to nurturing young minds through the strategic and intellectual game of chess. With over three years of teaching experience across renowned academies like Outpace Chess Academy (Bengaluru), Akshara Chess Academy, Go Chess Academy, Future Chess Academy, and SmartKidz Academy, he has trained students from across India, Dubai, the UK, and the USA.

Sreedil specializes in beginner and intermediate-level coaching, known for creating inclusive, engaging, and customized lesson plans tailored to individual growth and competitive success. His training approach combines strategic thinking with life skills like discipline, problem-solving, and teamwork.

An accomplished player himself, Sreedil has represented his university at the South Zone Inter University Chess Championship and captained his college team to first place at the Calicut University Inter-Collegiate Chess Championship. He has also secured titles in various state and local-level tournaments, including championing below-1600 FIDE-rated events.

Sreedil holds a Master’s degree in Commerce (Finance) from S.T. Thomas College, Thrissur, and a Bachelor’s in Professional Commerce from Christ College, Irinjalakuda. Fluent in English, Malayalam, Hindi, and conversant in Tamil, he is adept at connecting with students from diverse backgrounds.
