My Guitar class content helps you balancing technical skill acquisition with musical creativity and enjoyment. A well-structured course moves logically from basic anatomy and single notes to complex chords, scales, and improvisation.
1. BASICS OF GUITAR
Set Clear Objectives: Define what students will be able to do, such as "play 10 open chords confidently," "read tab notation," or "improvise a basic solo".
Structure by Difficulty: Order topics by complexity, ensuring a logical build-out (e.g., single notes

3. Structure Each Lesson (The "Topic vs. Application" Model)
Do not just teach theory; apply it immediately to ensure retention.
Topic: Introduce a new concept (e.g., G Major chord).
Application: Play a song that uses that chord (e.g., "Let It Be").
Assignment: Give actionable practice tasks for the next meeting.
4. Tips for Course Success
Make it Fun: Incorporate favorite songs early to keep motivation high.
Balance Practice: Divide sessions into 30 minutes of technical practice (scales/chords) and 30 minutes of fun (songs/improvisation).
Use Visuals: Include clear diagrams for chord shapes and tab sheets.
Consistency: Encourage daily, shorter practice sessions over weekly long ones.
